Yasuo (Swarm)

Yasuo is a swift and flighty damage dealer who starts out fairly weak but scales up into an untouchable storm of projectiles.


Yasuo's unique attack is very slow, but every critical hit makes the next one come a little faster. This dynamic is what causes Yasuo to scale so hard in Swarm.


His E, Sweeping Blade makes him extremely mobile so he can keep himself out of danger and avoid damage while his R, Wind Wall, allows him to create space for himself and his allies by blocking the movements and projectiles of enemies.


How to Unlock

Complete the "Defeat Bel’Veth on Subterranean Lab" objective. This will require you to win on The Warehouse and The Outskirts first.

Unique Weapon

Steel Tempest | Wandering Storms

Yasuo gains 25 Flow per second, and more when he moves and dashes. At 100 Flow, he lets out a whirlwind. damaging all enemies in a line. More projectiles are launched radially around himself.


Evolve: Crit chance

Wandering Storms: Yasuo focuses his energy, his tornadoes now curve around him and then leave lingering cyclones at their end points.


Benefits from Ability Haste, Crit Chance, Damage, and Projectile Count

 

Attack Lockout: .5s

(While standing still Yasuo attacks on a 4s CD, while moving that seems to drop just below 4)


Passive Flow: 25 per second

Movement Flow: 5 per 350 units moved?

(I’m not super sure about this one, it seems to give about 5 extra Flow per second when moving)

Dash Flow: 100


Damage: 120/120/150/150/180

Projectile Count: 1/3/3/5/5


Evolve Cyclone Duration: 4

Evolve Cyclone Damage: 250 per second

(4 ticks per second which can crit)


Abilities


Passive – Way of the Wanderer

Yasuo gains 15% Crit Chance and whenever an attack crits he gains 3 Flow.

 

E – Sweeping Blade (Cooldown: 5s, 3 charges)

Yasuo dashes in a direction and spins, avoiding damage during the dash and dealing damage to enemies passed through. After the dash is complete, he gains a shield.


Damage: 100 + 5 per level

Shield Amount: 100 + 10% max HP

Shield Duration: 1.5s

 

R – Wind Wall (Cooldown: 25s)

Yasuo creates an impassible wall, preventing enemies and enemy projectiles from passing but allowing friendly attacks and allies to pass through.


Wall Duration: 5s


Tips and Tricks for Playing Yasuo


The Battle Bunny Crossbow and Bunny Mega-Blast both evolve with Crit Chance which makes them natural pickups for Yasuo, though any weapon which can crit synergizes well.


Yasuo starts out pretty weak but scales exceptionally well with items because more critical hits means more attacks with Steel Tempest - which means more crits.


Evolving Steel Tempest to Wandering Storms is a huge power spike for Yasuo, it's extremely important that he evolves Steel Tempest as quickly as possible.


Yasuo relies on careful use of Sweeping Blade to avoid damage, use it to dash over groups of enemies to safer locations


Sweeping Blade can be used to dash over obstacles.
